Optional Additional Fees
The fees referred to above apply to all straightforward Wills. There may be additional charges for some Wills prepared. If we include any
of the following in your Will(s) an additional charge
will apply and be added to the Basic Fee
- Life Interest Trusts: These
allow a person to direct who benefits from their assets
not only on their death but after the death of another
person.
- Discretionary Trusts: These
allow your Trustees to decide after your death how some
or all of your assets are to be divided amongst a number
of beneficiaries and are often used as an inheritance tax
planning device.
- Trusts for the Disabled: These
can be used to ensure the maximum financial protection
for a disabled person.
- Severing a Joint Tenancy: If
you wish to dispose of an interest in property which is
owned jointly with someone else to someone other than the
co-owner, it may be necessary to consider the title to
your property and change the form of ownership.
- Tax / Estate
Planning: This is needed where your estate(s) (individually
or combined) are likely to exceed the nil rate band
for inheritance tax (£285,000
for tax year 2005/6).
